A Humanist Wedding is a non-religious, legally binding* ceremony, delivered in a meaningful and completely bespoke way that is personal to you as a couple. You take full steer as to how you want to declare and commit your love to one another in front of your loved ones. Be it writing your own vows, inclusions of readings, performances, symbolic gestures, anything goes.

At the heart of a Humanist Wedding is the couple’s story told in a way that is representative of you and your values. As the ceremony is fluid and adaptable in structure, there is no set script or running order, meaning it is truly unique.

Humanist Weddings provide a welcoming and inclusive setting for all guests, irrespective of differing world views and beliefs.

Quite simply, a Humanist Wedding stands for love, compassion, empathy, respect, inclusion and dignity.

*Legal status in Northern Ireland and Scotland only.
